These are songs from my favorite 15 records of 2015. The arrogance of online personae who regard themselves as 'tastemakers' is repulsive to me. 'The zeitgeist' is rejected as merely the term used by self-congratulatory intellectuals to describe the fads they like, what is in vogue amongst themselves, instead of the unwashed masses. They are sheep nonetheless. So, this mix is not here as some statement of my imagined cultural significance. I created this mix as a 'musical diary' of my year, with memories and feelings recalled through the sounds that moved me. And I posted this mix publicly as an exercise of goodwill and sharing: I love finding gems in the mixes, blogs, etc. of others. Maybe you'll find something new and revelatory here. It's long, but so worth it.
