yo la tengo | "spec bebop" | i can hear the heart beating as one | 1997
i'm not a huge fan of yo la tengo. in fact, as a general rule i hate pretty much most songs of theirs under five minutes. i haven't heard everything they've done, but i love the psychedelic stuff they do in their long songs and hate the cheesy pop stuff they do in their short songs.
when all the crap hits the fan, i love to turn up stuff like this and check out for a while. it keeps me sane.
